How to Use the Lightbox Media feature on Your Odoo Website
Now that we have discussed what a Lightbox popup is and some of the ways it may be used, let’s look at how to use one on your Odoo website.
Lightbox media feature represents an enlarged format of an image that can be viewed without needing to download the image.
The Lightbox Images feature, developed by Simplify-ERP, allows you to click on any uploaded image/thumbnail in the web pages or blogs and show it in a Lightbox.
To use the Lightbox Media navigate to your Odoo website or blog post. Click the Edit button and open the Edit mode.
The Edit mode will open the Website editor showing different customization Blocks. In the block section, you can see the Lighbox Text-picture or Picture-Text block.
Next, drag and drop the text-picture customization block from the website editor.
and put it on the website where you want to put the Lightbox block.
Now, you need to Select an Image from the webpage Media library.
When you're ready to save this Lightbox customization click on the SAVE button.
To see the new Lightbox image view, just Click on the image.
This is how the image will appear after the implementation of the Lightbox image feature.
To Exit the Lightbox view of the image and close the overlaid view of the image, Click on the X button.
